E-commerce Development

An online store that actually sells

Custom e-commerce development at a fixed price — payment-integrated, stock-accurate, and built around a checkout that converts rather than one that merely looks good.

What we build

E-commerce development built around the checkout

Where online stores actually lose money

We build e-commerce stores designed to convert visitors into customers, not stores that look impressive in a pitch deck. Across the stores we have launched, the pattern is always the same.

Almost every store that underperforms does so in the same three places. The checkout asks for information nobody wants to give. The shipping cost appears too late and the basket is abandoned. Or the stock number on the product page is wrong, and a customer pays for something you cannot send.

None of those are design problems, which is why redesigning a failing store usually does not fix it. We start with the checkout and the stock, then make it look good.

Most of what we build runs on WooCommerce, because it handles complex product structures well, integrates with South African payment gateways, and does not take a percentage of every sale you make. Where Shopify is the better fit — simpler products, and a client who wants somebody else handling the infrastructure — we build on that instead.

Most e-commerce problems are not design problems — they are checkout problems.

Common questions

E-commerce development questions answered

What people ask before commissioning an online store.

It depends on how many products you have and how much the store has to do beyond selling them. We give you a fixed price for a defined scope after a free scoping call.

A store with fifty products and standard shipping is a different job from one with variants, multiple warehouses and a stock system to integrate with. Anyone quoting one figure without asking is guessing.

Tell us what you are selling and how many products you have, and we will scope it and price it.
