How much does a custom analytics dashboard cost?

It depends on how many sources are involved and how clean the data in them is. We give you a fixed price for a defined scope after a data audit.

A dashboard pulling two or three well-structured sources is a different job from one spanning six systems where two of them disagree about the same figure. Anyone quoting before looking at the data is guessing.

What tools do you build dashboards with?

Custom web-based dashboards where you need full control over what it shows and who sees what. For simpler cases, an established BI tool is often the better answer and we will set that up instead.

The underlying work is the same either way — the pipeline, the transformation and the validation. The dashboard is the part you see; it is not the part that takes the time.

Can you connect the systems we already use?

Yes, and it is almost always part of the project. Databases, APIs, spreadsheets, accounting software, CRM systems and stock platforms.

Where a system has no usable API there are still options — see API and systems integration. A source that is awkward to reach is a constraint on the timeline, not a reason it cannot be done.

How does the data stay up to date?

Automated pipelines refresh it on a schedule — hourly, daily, or continuously where that is worth the cost. Nobody has to export anything or press a button.

The pipeline also monitors itself. If a source stops responding you find out, rather than looking at a dashboard that is quietly three weeks stale.

What if our data is a mess?

It usually is, and that is normal rather than embarrassing. Duplicate records, inconsistent naming, dates in three formats, and one system that disagrees with another about the same figure.

The data audit exists to find that before anything is quoted. Cleaning it is part of the work, and where two systems genuinely disagree we will tell you which one to trust and why — that decision is yours to make, but it has to be made explicitly rather than by whichever pipeline runs last.

Will our team actually use it?

That depends on two things, and both are design decisions rather than technical ones. Whether the figures match what the team already believes, and whether the first screen answers the question they actually open it to ask.

Validation against known numbers is a step in every project, and the design stage starts with what people need to see first rather than with everything that could be shown. A dashboard with forty metrics on one screen gets used once.
